Learn to Skate!
Again this year we are offering learn to skate classes for anyone who has never
skated before, or just wants to learn the basics.
This is a great opportunity to get your kids on skates in an environment where they
will be able to learn along with others at there same level. It is a excellent way
for kids and adults who may be interested in playing hockey or giving figure skating
a try.
Learn to Skate
Snow Plow Sam Levels 1-3
Designed for beginner skaters ages 3-99.
Level 1
Skaters will learn to sit and stand up both off and on ice, march in place, march
forward, glide on two feet, and dip in place.
Level 2
Skaters will march forward across the ice, perform two foot glides and dips while
moving, hop in place, learn forward swizzles, a rocking horse and backward wiggles.
Level 3
Skaters will march forward across the ice, glide forward on one foot, skate in a
slalom pattern, perform forward swizzles and a snowplow stop with a skid, and learn
backward swizzles.
